Shortly after 6:00 P.M. on September 30, 1955, radio stations across the country interrupted their programming to report 24 year-old screen actor James Dean had been killed in a tragic car accident along a desolate California highway.  Dean was driving his beloved Porsche Spyder, nicknamed "Little Bastard", en route to a race in Salinas when he collided with a 1950 Ford sedan.

When Dean and Little Bastard were separated at dusk that day, seemingly everyone wanted a piece of his treasured automobile.  As legend would have it, anyone who came into contact with the wrecked Little Bastard met an unusual fate.  Was there a James Dean curse?  Were the parts from Little Bastard tainted?

Finally in 1960, the remnants of Little Bastard vanished without a trace.  Nearly fifty years later, it has not been seen since.  "Race On, Little Bastard" seeks to solve the mystery of what occurred after the crash when we no longer had James Dean, only what he left behind.
